My Tessar it's old original Carl Zeiss Germany glass production. Tessar optic scheme it's unique, very warm tone and sharp at portrait distance. Perspective it's same at natural vision. I love my lens. Planar it's surely better than. Original competition of "Zeiss Amateur" at Rolleiflex time it's a little war from Tessar vs. Planar fans.
